Layout Description
Our original train layout was built in 1978 and measured 4x8 feet. Over the years, it expanded to 8x12 feet, eventually fitting into a standard bedroom and hugging the walls. In 2001, it was dismantled when we moved to Georgia; only the 8x12 section survived the move and over 20 years of storage.
In the summer of 2023, the layout was reassembled and became the foundation for a new design. The benchwork was completed in September 2023, and since then, over 300 feet of track has been laid.
